![]() We ran low after 3 days as the workers work their buts off to make sure everyone has a pleasant time.… The last 4 days there it was out of order so we had to go a mile down the street to get cash for tips. One thing management needs to do is make sure the ATM machine works. We did attend one of the evening shows Studio 54 and what a great show the entertainers provided. We ate breakfast at Zen the last morning there and Carlos and Gray made our last meal there special with their kind attention to us. Ciao, Ipanema and Zen were our favorites. The restaurants were very good with excellent service. All these people is what makes the Hard Rock Cancun special. Several times She took time to take our orders and let us know she'd be there for any thing we needed, even from our walk out patio on the same floor. Speaking of snack bar the one on the 3rd floor, Rock Royalty terrace, has a very special lady Isabel who works there. The brisket sandwich is soo good as is the burgers and pizzas from the snack bar. The resort still has a positive vibe about it that puts a smile on your face and is kept there with the delicious food and drinks provided. Those two spoiled us with their outstanding service. Once there Jesus "Cartel" and the his buddy also named Jesus "Romeo Blanco" made sure to we were never dry, drinks wise. The beach was our favorite spot and Jessica set us up with a cabana every day. When Jessica's shift was over Hector made sure everything went smoothly and always asked what they could do for us. She set up our dinner reservations for the week and chose wisely. From the day we arrived Jessica was there making sure everything was right for us. We had 2 outstanding butlers in Jessica and Hector. What really made our stay special were the employees. The weather cooperated as we had excellent temperatures and plenty of sun. This was our 3rd visit and 1st in January. My wife and I stayed a week beginning on the 6th at Hard Rock Cancun. But overall we had no other complaints, we had a wonderful time here and would most definitely go back again and recommend others to go!… Our only downside was the room keys don’t always work which can get very annoying either having to try multiple times or get a new key issued, this could be updated. It’s nice to see the hotel recognise potential issues and actively address them. Another thing we noticed was the lack of bugs/insects at this hotel, others told us of being bitten constantly while in Cancun but there was absolutely nothing here also the birds are always looking for rubbish but the hotel has people with hawks to keep them away from the guests. Another thing we noticed was the constant painting and minor repairs being done but this is to be expected as the hotel is right in the beach and it can be quite windy at night so when the walls are being sand blasted every night this is needed so nice to see them stay on top of it. ![]() We had read reviews ab oh t the construction going on and we did notice this but it was in no way intrusive to our stay. There are far too many staff to name but everyone we encountered was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, they were all very patient and attentive. In our opinion Ciao should be the flagship restaurant as we were very underwhelmed with Toro, the food was good but not what it is made out to be. There’s also very good facilities for cleaning up when coming off the sand which is great and means no sand in the room! We tried every restaurant at least once for each meal they serve and zen was our fav for breakfast, Frida for lunch and Ciao for dinner. The pool was brilliant and rarely had issues finding beds, the beach was great and would recommend buying a Bali bed. We stayed here for 10 days for honeymoon and had an amazing time.
